The back pocket is velcro shut for extra security. The front Finn Pocket opens to two large inner lining pockets perfect for cell phones and sunglasses. The short 29" shoulder strap fits under the arm where the bags hangs down another 17 inches length and 10 inches at the widest point. A magnetic clasp keeps everything closed.
